no, it will not be on oct 15th. but yes, the power tool drag races will this year be on oct 8th. that is a saturday. the next day, sunday the 9th is decompression.
the event will be from noon to midnight. a marathon day and night of racing. eliminations from noon to 5 or so. the interstititial events of tool freestyle jumping and head on head jouting for a couple hours, then the finals raced under the lights from dark until midnight. two different announcing crews. some party to follow. details still under consideration.
new rules will be out just as soon as i finish them. but the gist has been discussed around here previous.
simone will send a nice note to everyone next week.
